Vietnam's Kim Long Motor Partners with BYD for Major EV Battery Plant

Vietnam's auto manufacturer Kim Long Motor revealed plans on Tuesday to join forces with China's BYD in developing a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing plant in central Vietnam.
With an investment totaling $130 million, the project aims to advance the production of batteries for commercial electric vehicles.
The expansive plant will cover 4.4 hectares of land and is set to deliver an impressive 3 gigawatt-hours of energy capacity each year, according to a statement from Kim Long Motor.
