Supertech EV Limited Powers Ahead with New Manufacturing Facility in Karnataka

Supertech EV Limited has inaugurated a new manufacturing plant in Harapanahalli, Karnataka, with a capacity for 12,000 electric two-wheelers and 1,200 e-three-wheelers annually. The plant focuses on local assembly and aims to boost Supertech's presence in southern and western India by March 2024.

Supertech EV Limited, the Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer, has launched operations at its new Harapanahalli manufacturing facility in Karnataka. This state-of-the-art plant is designed to produce 12,000 electric two-wheelers and 1,200 e-three-wheelers annually, including popular models like the Zapster and Tiger scooters.

The facility represents a significant advancement in Supertech's production capabilities, integrating local assembly with advanced global technologies. Managing Director Yetender Sharma emphasized that the new plant enhances performance and cost efficiency, allowing for efficient service across key markets such as Karnataka, Hyderabad, and Goa.

As Supertech EV expands its footprint in southern and western India, the company plans to deepen market penetration through strategic partnerships and distribution channels, fostering the adoption of electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers in personal and commercial sectors.
