Infosys, a leading IT firm, has announced an expansion of its Mohali Development Centre. The newly launched 350,000-square-foot integrated development campus will have the capacity to accommodate around 3,000 employees, according to the company's statement.
The groundbreaking ceremony included Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora, and Infosys CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka. Chief Minister Mann emphasized that the expansion underscores Punjab's rising status as a technology and innovation hub, promising extensive employment opportunities in the region.
The new Software Development Block will enhance Infosys' capability to offer AI-led solutions, cloud services, and digital transformation to global clients. The expansion promises to advance an 'AI-first' strategy while maintaining sustainability with smart building techniques and wastewater recycling.
