Gorakhpur has solidified its place in the Guinness World Records with a groundbreaking artificial intelligence (AI) awareness campaign, achieving a staggering 7,64,187 online registrations within just a week, officials announced on Wednesday.
The 'AI for All Awareness Programme', driven under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, far exceeded its initial goal of five lakh registrations ahead of the April 9 deadline. Maharana Pratap Institute of Technology (MPIT) partnered with TCS Foundation and Mahayogi Gorakhnath University to launch the initiative on Wednesday.
This free-of-charge program aims to boost AI and cybersecurity awareness among the youth, offering basic and advanced online certification courses. The effort, officially recognized by the Guinness World Records, highlights Gorakhpur's commitment to digital literacy and education.
