GalaxEye's Mission Drishti: Pioneering New Frontiers in Satellite Technology

Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended his congratulations to the young scientists and engineers at GalaxEye following the launch of Mission Drishti, the groundbreaking OptoSAR satellite combining optical cameras with all-weather radar capabilities.

This innovative satellite, described as a world's first, signifies a new era in Earth observation. Developed by the Bengaluru-based space startup, the satellite was launched on a Falcon 9 rocket by SpaceX from California, USA.

Mission Drishti combines electro-optical and synthetic aperture radar sensors into one operational platform, highlighting the prowess of Indian youth on the global stage and advancing Prime Minister Modi's vision for a space-powerful India.
