Telangana Paves Way for Aeroengine Manufacturing Hub
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu inaugurated the groundbreaking ceremony for ITP Aero – India's new manufacturing facility with a Rs 453 crore investment. Once operational, the plant will employ up to 600 professionals. The facility will produce key components used in aircraft engines.
Telangana IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu led the groundbreaking ceremony for ITP Aero – India's manufacturing facility on Tuesday, marking a significant step in the aeronautical sector. The plant, with an investment of Rs 453 crore, promises to be a hub of advanced manufacturing and precision engineering.
The facility is set to employ around 350 highly skilled professionals initially, with projections to expand the workforce to 600 as operations scale up. These professionals will work in critical areas such as precision engineering, advanced manufacturing, and quality control, contributing to the production of essential aeroengine components like end-fittings and brackets.
Located at the Hardware Park in Shamshabad, this facility covers 10 acres and is expected to commence full-scale operations by 2027. The project represents a significant boost to the region’s industrial capabilities and employment opportunities.
