Chitkara University successfully hosted the 6th International Conference on Artificial Intelligence-driven Computing, Analytics and Networks (ICAN 2026) on May 15 and 16, 2026. This event attracted researchers, academicians, industry leaders, and innovators worldwide to discuss the evolving impact of AI on future technology, research, and industry landscapes.
Since its inception in 2017, ICAN has grown into a flagship engineering conference at Chitkara University, renowned for international participation and academic collaborations. This year's edition focused heavily on AI, featuring discourses on AI-driven computing, intelligent analytics, and advanced network infrastructures, with 858 research papers submitted from 16 countries.
Keynote speeches by notable figures such as Dr. Sudatta Kar and Dr. Sudarsun Santhiappan provided insights into AI's role as a partner and competitor in the modern world. The conference underscored Chitkara University's commitment to promoting AI-centric education and collaborative research, further establishing its international academic stature.
