9th Gen Intel Core mobile processors dubbed as most powerful generation ever

Intel announced today the new 9th Gen Intel Core mobile H-series processors, the most powerful generation of Intel Core mobile processors ever, to push enthusiast gamers and creative professionals' experience to next level.

The 9th Gen Intel Core mobile processors deliver desktop-calibre performance in a mobile form factor and feature amazing performance. The new Intel Core i9-9980HK delivers world-class performance with up to 5.0 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 Technology, 8 cores, and 16 threads with Intel Hyper-Threading Technology (Intel HT Technology), and 16MB of smart cache to conquer the most demanding workloads. The new processors can power incredibly fast video and photo editing to tackle heavyweight creative tasks on the go.

According to Intel, 9th Gen Intel Core mobile processors will offer 33 per cent overall performance leap and up to 28 per cent increased responsiveness. With the new processors, laptop gaming gets a whole lot better. Gamers will be able to play immersive AAA gameplay with up to 56 per cent FPS improvement and 38 per cent faster turn time, even while recording and streaming.

Laptops powered by the 9th Gen Intel Core mobile processors will be launched from OEMs including Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo and MSI, starting April 23, 2019.

The company also unveiled today the new additions to the 9th Gen Intel Core desktop processor family with improved performance and flexibility to meet a range of consumer needs from everyday productivity to gaming to content creation.
