Reliance Jio GigaFiber to launch on August 12 - Report

During last annual AGM (Annual General Meeting) Reliance Jio announced Jio GigaFiber and company made clear that it will enter into Broadband sector in the country. According to new reports, The annual AGM will be held on August 12 and the company may launch Jio GigaFiber on the same day.

The Hindu quoted "The commercial launch of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) services is likely to be announced during the company's AGM next month." Asked for comments, a senior RIL official neither confirmed nor denied the report.

Jio GigaFiber will be made available simultaneously in 1,600 cities across India. Jio GigaFiber currently offers 100GB free data at 100Mbps speeds for a month.
