Italy's ambassador to Angola, Cláudio Miscia, expressed on April 3 that the availability of his country to participate actively in the Luanda Biennale - Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace in Africa, to be held next September, in Angola's capital, Luanda.

The diplomat, who was speaking during a meeting granted by the Minister of Culture, Carolina Cerqueira, considered the event an excellent opportunity to show the Italian experience in conflict resolution, as well as the identity traits in the cultural domain. To this end, according to the ambassador, his country will take advantage of the promotion of various cultural activities among which photographic exhibitions, cuisine, music, fashion and dance.

Cláudio Miscia also reaffirmed Italy's willingness to support Angola's applications for the world heritage (Kwanza Corridor, Tchitundu Hulu and Cuito Caunavale) as part of the "excellent" bilateral relations between the two countries in a wide range of fields.
