Wholesale debt market segment of the National Stock Exchange today witnessed a total turnover of Rs.1,295.50 crore in 31 trades.

Top securities traded at the WDM were: The 91-days Treasury bills issue no.011118 traded value of Rs 300.00 crore at weighted yield of 6.76 percent, the 8.79 percent Government security maturing in CG2021 traded value of Rs 100.00 crore at weighted yield of 7.74 percent and the 8.83 percent Government security maturing in CG2041 traded value of 100.00 crores weighted yield of 8.12 percent.

During the trading week ended today, total turnover was Rs 8,482.55 crore and the total number of trades was 168.

The highest trade volume during the week was at Rs 2,970.50 crore as on Aug 2, while the lowest was at Rs.1,266.20 crore as on Aug 1.

This week, the weighted yield on government securities with a maturity period of 0-3 years, 3-7 years, 7-10 years and more than 10 years quoted at 7.50 percent, 7.88 percent, 7.82 percent and 8.12 respectively.

The weighted yields on treasury bills maturing for 91-182 days and 183-365 days were 6.85 percent and the 7.25 percent respectively.

During the week, the cumulative value of government securities, treasury bills and state government securities trading on WDM was Rs 6,205.00 crore, representing 73.15 percent of the total traded value.

Trading in non-government securities was at Rs.2,277.55 crore, representing 26.85 percent, an NSE release said.
