China will intensify its reforms and launch new incentives to boost private and corporate investment, Premier Li Keqiang said, quoted by China's official news agency.

Li Keqiang made the remarks Thursday at a meeting of the State Council (the government), the agency said.

"Our economy is performing steadily with good momentum for growth, and in the face of new circumstances and new challenges, we need to intensify reforms, pay attention to emerging issues, anticipate and refine policy if necessary to ensure that 'economy works with an appropriate amplitude,' said the prime minister, according to news reported by China news.

"We must redouble our efforts to reduce business costs, support exports and make better use of foreign investment," he added.
