IIM's CIIE Initiatives makes funding in Heelium

CIIE Initiatives, the tech incubator of IIM Ahmedabad, Tuesday said it has made a seed funding in the customized running-footwear maker, Heelium.

Co-founded by Prateek Sharma and Siddharth Jain, Heelium aims to infuse technology-led research with design and manufacture high performance, tailor-made footwear for runners, a statement said.

Selling online, Heelium has sold over 4000 units to individual customers since its launch in January this year, it said adding that the company is now looking to foray into enterprise sales to sports institutions like the Sports Authority of India.
