AGEL board appoints Romesh Sobti as an additional director

Adani Green Energy Ltd AGEL on Monday said its board has appointed Romesh Sobti as an additional director. Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) on Monday said its board has appointed Romesh Sobti as an additional director. ''Board of directors of the company has, on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, appointed Romesh Sobti as an additional director (Non-Executive, Independent) of the company to hold office up to date of ensuing annual general meeting'', the company stated in a BSE filing. Sobti is the former Managing Director & CEO of IndusInd Bank (tenure from 1 February 2008 till 23 March 2020). The start-up will utilize the funds to expand the team and strengthen the tech capabilities, such as improving the recommendation engine and simplifying content discovery on the platform, the company said in a statement.
