Tin eases on lower demand

Mumbai, Sep 12 (PTI) Tin prices eased further at the non-ferrous metals market here Wednesday on stockists' selling and lower demand from alloy industries.

Elsewhere, zinc, copper cable scrap, and copper billets slipped owing to sluggish demand from consuming industries.

While copper armature and copper utensils gained marginally due to good demand from industrial users.

Tin prices moved down by Rs 7 per kg to Rs 1,418 from Tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,425 and zinc edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 212 as against Rs 214.

Copper cable scrap and copper billets softened by a rupee per kg each to Rs 453 and Rs 481.

However, copper armature and copper utensils inched upper kg each to Rs 444 and Rs 419, respectively.
