China Jan-Aug ODI +11.5% y/y to $83.7 bln - commerce ministry

China's non-financial outbound direct investment (ODI) rose 11.5% in dollar terms in the first eight months of 2023 from a year earlier to $83.7 billion, the commerce ministry said on Thursday.
In yuan terms, ODI was up 18.8% in the same period to 585.6 billion yuan ($80 billion). ($1 = 7.3031 Chinese yuan)
