Jordan's 2024 budget growth forecast at 2.6 pct of GDP, unchanged from previous year- finance minister

Jordan's 2024 budget forecasts growth at 2.6% of GDP, unchanged from last year's number, the finance minister said on Wednesday.

He added that the cabinet had approved the 2024 draft budget, with a forecast 12.4 billion dinars in state expenditure, a 9% rise in expenditure from previous year. He said that the 2024 budget forecasts the deficit at 2.1% of GDP compared to 2.6% from previous year.
