Speeding Tragedy in Jammu: Mini-Bus Overturns, Claims Two Lives

Authorities have registered an FIR against the driver and conductor of a mini-bus that overturned due to speeding in Jammu district, killing two people and injuring 16 others. Financial relief has been announced for the families of the deceased, and the injured are receiving medical care at Akhnoor hospital.

In a tragic incident on Sunday, a mini-bus overturned due to speeding in the Jammu district, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to 16 others. The vehicle was travelling from Akhnoor to Naryana before it lost control at Kaleeth in the Khour subdivision, officials reported.

The local authorities have registered an FIR, accusing the driver and conductor of over-speeding and reckless driving. District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya stated that financial relief will be provided to the families of the deceased and confirmed legal action against those responsible.

The injured passengers are currently receiving medical treatment at the sub-district hospital in Akhnoor, as the community reels from this unfortunate event.
