American tech billionaire Elon Musk has extended his congratulations to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his historic re-election, expressing enthusiasm for his companies’ future endeavors in India.
Modi, who will be sworn in for a third term on June 9, received Musk's congratulations via a post on X, formerly Twitter, shortly after his electoral victory.
Musk, 52, highlighted his keen interest in exploring the Indian market for his ventures, including Tesla and Starlink, particularly following a newly announced Indian electric vehicle policy that offers substantial import duty concessions to companies investing a minimum of USD 500 million in the country's manufacturing sector.
