Shares of piping solutions provider Dee Development Engineers Ltd surged by an impressive 67 per cent against the issue price of Rs 203 during their market debut on Wednesday.
The stock opened at Rs 325 on the BSE, marking a 60 per cent rise, and eventually soared to Rs 365.70, reflecting an 80.14 per cent increase. On the NSE, it commenced trading at Rs 339, a jump of 66.99 per cent. Consequently, the company's market valuation reached Rs 2,246.33 crore.
The remarkable performance follows a highly successful Initial Public Offering (IPO), which was oversubscribed 99.56 times. The Rs 418-crore offering included a fresh issue of up to Rs 325 crore and an offer for sale of up to 45,82,000 equity shares within a price range of Rs 193-203 per share.
Dee Development Engineers Ltd specialises in providing advanced process piping solutions for various industries, including oil and gas, power (nuclear included), and chemicals. The company operates seven manufacturing facilities across India and Thailand and serves eminent clients such as JGC Corporation, Nooter Eriksen, and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, among others.
