Tragic Karachi Crash: Seven Dead in Overspeeding Coaster Accident

At least seven people lost their lives in Karachi when an overspeeding coaster lost control, crashing into a pavement and overturning. Police reported that the driver of the trailer involved fled the scene while emergency responders provided immediate medical assistance. At least seven individuals were killed in a tragic incident involving an overspeeding coaster that lost control and overturned after crashing into a pavement in Karachi.

The accident took place in Sindh province when a trailer took a U-turn, leading the coaster coming from behind to ram into it and overturn, according to police reports.

The driver of the trailer fled the scene, while the coaster driver was among the injured, reported Dawn newspaper. The crash resulted in the deaths of seven people, including women and children, according to the Express Tribune.

Emergency responders were quick to provide medical assistance to the injured, and the bodies of the deceased were transferred to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for further procedures.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed his grief over the loss of lives and directed medical centers to provide the best possible treatment to the injured. He also demanded a detailed report from Sindh Inspector General Ghulam Nabi Memon and called for strict measures to prevent similar accidents in the future.

In a statement, CM Shah emphasized the need for stricter control over speeding drivers, urging the suspension of licenses for those who exceed speed limits on busy roads.

In a related incident, a jeep accident in Abbottabad's Liran village on May 23 resulted in six deaths and seven injuries.
