SpiceJet announced late Friday that all its airport systems, ticket bookings, and call centers are functioning smoothly after a ''successful resolution'' of a Microsoft outage that had affected the entire aviation industry throughout the day.

''The technical outage has been fully resolved, and all our systems are back to normal operations,'' said SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh in a statement.

The outage, which began Friday morning, had a global impact, causing temporary disruptions to online services and airport check-in processes.

Despite the challenges posed by the technical outage, the airline reported that it operated all scheduled flights on Friday as planned and did not cancel any flights due to the issue.

''Our team worked diligently to ensure minimal disruption to our passengers' travel plans. We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our passengers and stakeholders during this time,'' the airline stated.
