Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday hailed the Union budget, highlighting its role in achieving the vision of 'Viksit Bharat' (developed India).
The budget for the 2024-25 fiscal, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament, aims to facilitate the creation of investment-ready industrial parks in or near 100 cities, alongside the sanctioning of 12 industrial parks under the National Industrial Corridor Development Programme. Khandu emphasized that these initiatives will significantly enhance industry growth and attract investments.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein described the budget as inclusive, meeting the aspirations of various societal segments, from businessmen and farmers to women and youth. ACCI president Tarh Nachung appreciated the government's decision to offer loans up to Rs 10 lakh for students pursuing higher education and commended the focus on employment, skilling, and the MSME sector, which is allocated over Rs 22,000 crore.
