HUL Reports Modest Profit Rise in June Quarter FY25

FMCG giant Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) reported a 2.2% rise in consolidated net profit, amounting to Rs 2,612 crore for the June quarter of FY25, according to a recent regulatory filing.
Compared to the April-June period of FY24, where the net profit was Rs 2,556 crore, this represents a modest growth. Revenue from product sales showed a slight increase of 1.68%, reaching Rs 15,497 crore up from Rs 15,240 crore in the year-ago period.
Meanwhile, total expenses for the June quarter of FY25 climbed to Rs 12,385 crore, marking a 1.8% year-on-year rise. Overall, total income also saw a 1.81% increase, amounting to Rs 15,964 crore. Shares of HUL on the BSE ended the day at Rs 2,766.50 apiece, reflecting a 1.17% increase from the previous close.
