Tragic Collision in Seoni: Two Dead, Two Injured

Two people were killed and two others injured in a collision between a private bus and an SUV near Kodiya village on Seoni-Balaghat highway. The deceased, identified as Rohit Kakodiya and Shrichand Bisen, were traveling in the SUV. The injured are undergoing treatment, and an investigation is underway.

In a tragic incident in Seoni district, Madhya Pradesh, a collision between a private bus and a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) resulted in two fatalities and two injuries on Sunday, according to police reports.

The accident took place near Kodiya village on the Seoni-Balaghat highway. The bus was en route to Seoni from Balaghat, while the SUV was heading in the opposite direction, leading to the crash, stated an official.

Barghat police station in-charge Mohnish Singh confirmed that two of the four SUV occupants, identified as Rohit Kakodiya and Shrichand Bisen, died at the scene. The other two sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical treatment. Fortunately, no bus passengers were injured. Authorities have registered a case, and further investigations are ongoing.
