Sarma took aim at the governments of West Bengal and Jharkhand, accusing them of a soft stance on the issue. He urged the Indian government to bolster border security measures, particularly in West Bengal, which he identified as a weak link in the country's border defense.

The Chief Minister highlighted the efforts made by Assam and Tripura in countering this issue, mentioning that both states have arrested several infiltrators. Sarma also pointed out that Assam is employing Artificial Intelligence to analyze demographic changes and that the state's current administration has adopted a firm policy against such infiltration.
