Ambadas Danve, the Leader of Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council, on Wednesday, pressed for urgent infrastructure improvements in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, citing agreements with corporate giants Toyota and Lubrizol.

Danve emphasized that these projects could generate thousands of jobs for the district if they come to fruition. He highlighted the need for a road linking the Shendra and Bidkin nodes of Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) to be built immediately to provide factories in the Bidkin node direct access to the Samruddhi Expressway Highway.

Additionally, he urged the government to complete a new water pipeline from Jayakwadi dam to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar by year-end to cater to the influx of "new employees and their families." Danve also called for special attention to the proposed airport expansion and sought clarity on the timeline for the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-JNPT rail line via Pune.
