Dabur India Achieves Robust Profit Amidst Market Challenges
Dabur India reported an 8.27% rise in consolidated net profit for Q1 FY2024, despite high food inflation and unemployment. Revenue increased to Rs 3,349.11 crore, with total expenses at Rs 2,835.86 crore. The international business also saw significant growth in various regions.
Home-grown FMCG major Dabur India reported an 8.27 per cent rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 494.35 crore in the first quarter ended June 2024, amid a challenging demand environment marked by high food inflation and unemployment rate.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 456.61 crore in the same quarter last fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.
Consolidated revenue from operations during the quarter under review reached Rs 3,349.11 crore, compared to Rs 3,130.47 crore in the previous year. Total expenses in the period climbed to Rs 2,835.86 crore, up from Rs 2,646.69 crore a year earlier.
