Emami Ltd, a homegrown FMCG major, announced a 10.13% rise in profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 150.6 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024-25, reflecting robust volume growth and margin expansions in the domestic market.

According to regulatory filings, the company had posted a PAT of Rs 136.75 crore for the same period last year. Revenue from operations increased by 9.73% to Rs 906.07 crore, compared to Rs 825.66 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Total expenses also saw an uptick, reaching Rs 689.56 crore, up 8.4% from the previous year.

Emami’s domestic business grew by 10% with an 8.7% rise in volumes, supported by strong performance across modern trade, e-commerce, and institutional channels. The company's EBITDA grew by 14% to Rs 216 crore, even though A&P expenditures surged by 21%. Shares closed 0.67% higher at Rs 823.10 on the BSE.
