In a striking move, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) apprehended Gulzar Sheikh, a YouTuber from Khandrauli Village in Uttar Pradesh, for endangering train operations by placing objects on railway tracks.

The Railway Ministry disclosed that Sheikh had uploaded over 250 videos, posing a significant risk to railway safety. The RPF, upon detailed analysis of Sheikh's online presence, registered the offence on August 1st, 2024, leading to his arrest the same day.

The Director General of RPF emphasized that this legal action is intended to serve as a deterrence, underlining the importance of railway safety and urging the public to report any activities jeopardizing rail security via helpline number 139.
