Kaushalya Logistics Limited (NSE: KLL), a diversified logistics conglomerate, has inaugurated a new cement depot in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Effective from August 1, 2024, the facility will manage crucial logistics for Adani Cement, including rake point operations, depot management, and secondary transportation. The depot will support both ACC and Ambuja Cement brands, boosting KLL's service range.
The Ahmednagar depot will handle roughly 120,000 metric tons of cement annually. KLL is set to oversee the entire logistics chain, from rail movement to secondary distribution. This move highlights KLL's dedication to optimizing the supply chain and ensuring seamless logistics solutions for its clients. In concurrent discussions with Adani Cement, KLL is exploring further opportunities to establish additional depots, signaling a promising growth trajectory.
KLL's Managing Director, Uddhav Poddar, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnership with Adani Cement, emphasizing KLL's ability to manage extensive operations and the anticipated value addition for Adani. Recently, KLL secured new clients such as Dalmia Bharat and JK Cement, expanding into Uttar Pradesh and aligning with its strategic goal of diversifying logistics segments. These expansions are projected to bolster Kaushalya's growth and market presence.
