Goods Train Derails in Beawar District Due to Landslide

A goods train derailed in Beawar district, Rajasthan, following a landslide caused by rainfall. The train, traveling from Ajmer to Palanpur, had its engine and wagon go off-track. No injuries were reported. Officials are working to restore the damaged track.

A goods train derailed in Beawar district of Rajasthan on Monday, officials reported.

According to Jagdish Prasad, in charge of Sendra police station, the incident occurred when stones fell onto the track from a hill due to heavy rainfall. The engine and wagon of the loaded train, en route to Palanpur from Ajmer, were affected.

While the track sustained damage, there were no injuries to the train's driver or guard. Railway officials have arrived at the scene and started restoration work.
