A goods train derailed in Beawar district of Rajasthan on Monday, officials reported.
According to Jagdish Prasad, in charge of Sendra police station, the incident occurred when stones fell onto the track from a hill due to heavy rainfall. The engine and wagon of the loaded train, en route to Palanpur from Ajmer, were affected.
While the track sustained damage, there were no injuries to the train's driver or guard. Railway officials have arrived at the scene and started restoration work.
