Blue Star Ltd Sees Two-Fold Profit Surge in Q1 FY25
Air conditioning and refrigeration giant Blue Star Ltd reported a two-fold increase in net profit for Q1 FY25, reaching Rs 168.76 crore. The company attributed this growth to high demand for cooling products and effective cost management. Revenues also surged by 28.72% to Rs 2,865.37 crore.
Air conditioning and commercial refrigeration system manufacturer, Blue Star Ltd, has reported a two-fold increase in consolidated net profit, amounting to Rs 168.76 crore in the first quarter of FY25. The substantial growth is attributed to robust demand and stringent cost management efforts.
In comparison, the company recorded a net profit of Rs 83.37 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. According to a regulatory filing, Blue Star's revenue from operations also rose by 28.72% to Rs 2,865.37 crore, up from Rs 2,222.60 crore in the prior year.
Total expenses for the June quarter grew by 25.51% to Rs 2,663.20 crore, while total income jumped by 29.24% to Rs 2,889.14 crore. Blue Star attributed its exceptional performance to strong demand across various product segments and meticulous cost management.
