Zoomcar Expands with First Fulfilment Centre in Chennai

Zoomcar has launched its first fulfilment centre in Chennai and plans to add over 100 more this year. The company will also introduce 1,000 new cars on its platform by December. These centres, managed by third-party operators, offer various services to car hosts and provide reliable booking options tagged as ‘Assured by Zoomcar’.

Self-drive car-sharing platform Zoomcar announced the launch of its first fulfilment centre in Chennai, with plans to establish more than 100 such centres within the year.

As part of its expansion strategy, Zoomcar aims to add 1,000 new cars to its platform by December. The fulfilment centres, operated by third-party partners, handle all operations for car hosts who wish to share their vehicles but face logistical challenges. Services offered include car management, cleanliness, secure parking, and delivery and pick-up services.

Cars managed through these centres will carry the 'Assured by Zoomcar' tag on the Zoomcar app, ensuring reliable booking options with 24/7 pick-up and drop-off services for guests.
