In a notable departure, Wipro's Chief Technology Officer, Subha Tatavarti, has resigned to seek opportunities outside the company. Tatavarti, who joined Wipro in April 2021, spearheaded its GenAI initiatives and introduced the Wipro ai360 platform.
This resignation, confirmed through a regulatory filing, marks the fourth top-level exit at Wipro in just four months. Other significant departures include Chief Delivery Officer Ajit Mahale, Chief Operating Officer Amit Choudhary, and Anis Chenchah, the CEO of APMEA, following the resignation of former CEO Thierry Delaporte.
Wipro has faced a challenging period, reporting a 3.8 per cent decline in its consolidated revenue for the June-ended quarter. However, the company saw a 4.6 per cent year-on-year rise in its consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 3,003.2 crore. Shares of Wipro were slightly up, trading at Rs 489.15 apiece on the BSE on Tuesday.
