EaseMyTrip Records 31% Rise in Q1 Profit

EaseMyTrip reported a 31% rise in consolidated profit after tax to Rs 33.93 crore for the June 2024 quarter. Total income increased to Rs 156.22 crore, while expenses rose to Rs 109.03 crore. The company's revenue from operations grew by 23% year-on-year.

EaseMyTrip Planners reported a significant 31% increase in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT), reaching Rs 33.93 crore in the June 2024 quarter.

The travel booking platform had previously noted a PAT of Rs 25.90 crore in the same quarter the previous fiscal year.

According to regulatory filings, EaseMyTrip's total income rose to Rs 156.22 crore for the April-June period, up from Rs 126.64 crore a year ago. Concurrently, total expenses also climbed to Rs 109.03 crore, as opposed to Rs 91.56 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year.

Co-founder and CEO Nishant Pitti highlighted that the company sustained consistent bottom-line growth and operational momentum, along with a continued focus on profitability. For Q1 FY2025, the Gross Booking Revenue stood at Rs 2,274.5 crore, translating to a 23% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to Rs 152.6 crore, while EBITDA demonstrated a 34.9% growth, reaching Rs 50.6 crore.
