Mahindra Group Revival: BSA Gold Star 650 Launched in India at Rs 2.99 Lakh

Mahindra Group's iconic motorcycle brand, BSA, has debuted in India with the launch of the Gold Star 650 model, priced at Rs 2.99 lakh. Acquired by Mahindra's Classic Legends in 2016, BSA is one of the world's oldest motorcycle companies. The Gold Star 650, reintroduced in the UK in 2021, will now be available in multiple markets, including Europe, Turkey, and India.

Mahindra Group's iconic motorcycle brand, BSA, made its Indian debut with the launch of the 652-cc Gold Star 650 model, priced at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Acquired by Mahindra's premium motorcycles arm, Classic Legends, in 2016, BSA marks one of the oldest motorcycle companies globally. Classic Legends is known for selling Jawa and Yezdi motorcycles in India.

The BSA Gold Star 650, which was reintroduced in the UK in 2021, is currently marketed in regions such as Europe, Turkey, New Zealand, and the Philippines. According to Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, bringing BSA to India embodies sharing a heritage of global motorcycling history. The company also revealed plans to enter the US, Australia, and Japan markets soon.
