Air India on Friday canceled its flight from Ho Chi Minh City to the national capital due to operational issues, affecting numerous passengers. The airline is working on flying the passengers to Delhi at the earliest, offering options such as cancellations with full refunds and complimentary rescheduling to another date.
In a statement, an Air India spokesperson confirmed that flight AI389, scheduled for September 13, 2024, was canceled due to operational reasons. He noted that passengers have been provided with hotel accommodations.
A source revealed that a technical issue with the aircraft and the subsequent crew exceeding their flight duty timings led to the cancellation. The spokesperson expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the passengers due to the unforeseen disruption.
