Flydubai Cancels Dubai-Beirut Flights Amid Regional Tensions
Flydubai has extended the cancellation of its Dubai-Beirut flights until Oct. 7, citing 'ongoing developments'. This follows a wave of airline flight cancellations to Beirut and Tel Aviv due to escalating conflict between Israel and militant targets in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank.
Emirati airline flydubai announced on Monday that its Dubai-Beirut flights will be cancelled until October 7 due to 'ongoing developments.' This follows an earlier statement indicating the cancellations would last until October 3.
Several airlines have recently cancelled flights to Beirut and Tel Aviv as conflict intensifies in the region. Israel has launched attacks on militant targets in Lebanon, Gaza, and the occupied West Bank, extending to Yemen and Israel itself.
In a statement, flydubai said, 'We continue to monitor the situation closely and amend our flight schedule accordingly.'
