KIMSHEALTH Unveils Kerala's First 3D Mapping Electrophysiology Lab

KIMSHEALTH Trivandrum has launched a groundbreaking Electrophysiology Lab featuring the latest 3D mapping technology. Inaugurated by ISRO Chairman Dr. S. Somanath, the lab boasts the ENSITE X system, marking a significant advancement in diagnosing and treating life-threatening heart arrhythmias with precision, essential for cost-effective healthcare in India.

KIMSHEALTH Hospital in Trivandrum has taken a monumental step forward with the inauguration of Kerala's first electrophysiology lab using advanced 3D mapping technology. In a ceremony led by Dr. S. Somanath, Chairman of ISRO, the facility was unveiled to bridge the gap between engineering and medical science, aiming for precision in cardiac diagnostics.

The state-of-the-art lab features the ENSITE X system, a first for Kerala and only the third in India. This innovative technology aids in the precise identification and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders like atrial fibrillation, offering a safe and permanent cure through detailed mapping of cardiac electrical activities.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Ajith Kumar V K and Dr. Anees Thajudeen highlighted the lab's capabilities. Meanwhile, Varun Khanna emphasized the importance of such technologies in minimizing healthcare disparities. Dr. M. I. Sahadulla expressed KIMSHEALTH's vision for continued excellence in medical services, while experts gathered for a CME program to discuss advancements in patient care.
