In a heart-wrenching incident, two brothers allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train, police sources revealed on Saturday. The deceased, Mahesh Agarwal (38) and Saurabh Agarwal (32), were residents of Govind Dham Colony.

Both were known as local suppliers of packaged snacks. The Station House Officer of Chhata police station, Sanjay Kumar Tyagi, reported the tragic event occurred near the Delhi-Mathura Bilauthi Cut railway gate around 10 p.m. on Friday. A parked bike near the scene led to the identification of the victims through its registration details.

According to Pawan, the nephews of the men, the duo was struggling with financial problems, a factor possibly contributing to their drastic decision. The authorities have sent the bodies for post-mortem, while an extensive investigation continues into the matter.
