Vardhman Special Steels Ltd Thursday said independent director Jayant Davar has resigned from the company's board.

"Jayant Davar, independent director of the company, due to his preoccupation, has resigned from the board of the company with effect from 16th January, 2019," the company said in a BSE filing.

The company caters to diverse requirements of hot rolled bars for engineering, automotive, tractor, bearing and allied industries.
