TVS Motor Company is poised to establish a new global capability center in Karnataka, marking a significant expansion move in the region. This development is part of a larger plan to enhance production and engineering operations in Mysuru.
At the Global Investors Meet, Sudarshan Venu, Managing Director of TVS Motor, revealed the ambitious blueprint, highlighting the Rs 2,000 crore investment agreement with the Karnataka government over the next five years. The facility aims to attract top talent and foster innovation with a focus on next-generation bikes.
The Mysuru factory, a cornerstone of TVS's operations, currently supports over 3,500 employees and produces 1.5 million vehicles annually. TVS plans to significantly increase exports and overall revenues from this facility, reinforcing its global influence in the two-wheeler industry.
