A significant fire erupted in a food processing unit in Maharashtra's Sangli district on an early Thursday morning. The blaze was brought under control within five hours, an official from the local civic body reported.
The fire broke out at approximately 5.45 a.m., engulfing Aditi Foods located in Nerle within the Walwa tehsil. The suspected cause of the fire is a short circuit, according to the official.
Multiple fire tenders and water tankers were dispatched to the scene, successfully subduing the flames by 10 a.m. Investigations are currently underway to determine the precise cause of the fire.
