Volvo's Rs 1,400 Crore Investment to Power Massive Expansion in Karnataka

Volvo, the renowned Sweden-based bus and truck manufacturer, has announced a substantial investment of Rs 1,400 crore to expand its manufacturing plant in Hoskote, near Bengaluru.
This investment is set to create over 2,000 direct jobs, a move formalized in an agreement signed at a high-profile event with state leadership, including the Chief Minister.
The expansion will elevate production capacity from 3,000 to 20,000 units annually, positioning India and Karnataka as pivotal players in the global supply chain while boosting local economic growth.
