Tragedy Unfolds: New Delhi Railway Station Stampede Leaves Many Devastated

A tragic stampede at New Delhi Railway Station last Saturday left 18 people dead and 15 injured. The incident happened during a chaotic rush as people attempted to board trains to Prayagraj.

Thirteen of the injured were taken to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narain Hospital, while two received care elsewhere. Currently, five patients are still hospitalized, with two requiring orthopedic treatment and one in ENT care.

Additionally, a 16-year-old remains under observation at Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital for minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the safety conditions that led to this unfortunate event.
