FlyDubai, a low-cost airline, announced a record-breaking 2024 profit of USD 611 million, driven by a surge in passenger numbers and a dip in fuel costs. The carrier earned USD 3.5 billion in revenue, surpassing its previous year's profit of USD 572 million.

Serving as a sister carrier to the long-haul airline Emirates, FlyDubai is based at Dubai International Airport, the world's busiest hub for international travel. The airline flew 15.4 million passengers in 2024, contributing to its financial rebound post-COVID-19.

Operating a fleet of 88 Boeing 737s, FlyDubai services 131 destinations across 55 countries. Notably, it maintained flights to Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport during the Israel-Hamas conflict, underscoring its commitment to routes established following the UAE's 2020 diplomatic recognition of Israel.
