During the 45-day Mahakumbh in Prayagraj, digital financial transactions reached new heights, according to a recent PayNearby report. Aadhaar Pay transactions jumped by 66 percent, reflecting users' growing trust and the convenience of biometric-based payment systems.

Furthermore, cash withdrawals via AePS and MATM increased by 19 percent, underscoring the need for accessible banking solutions at high-attendance events. Mobile recharges rose 32 percent, while money transfers surged by 47 percent, highlighting the essential role of digital transactions during festivals.

As more than 66 crore visitors flocked to Prayagraj, tech innovations like AI-powered parking systems were pivotal, automating processes for over 5 lakh vehicles. These developments underscore the critical role of technology in managing large gatherings efficiently and securely.
