Bajaj Auto's Mixed Sales Scenario: Domestic Decline Offset by Export Surge

Bajaj Auto reported a modest 3% increase in total vehicle sales for July, mainly due to a significant rise in exports. Despite a 13% drop in domestic sales, export numbers rose 28% year-on-year. Two-wheeler sales remained steady while commercial vehicles experienced a 23% growth.

Bajaj Auto announced a 3% increase in total vehicle wholesales for July, reaching 366,000 units. The growth is attributed primarily to a 28% surge in export sales.

However, the company faced challenges domestically with a 13% decline in vehicle sales, totaling 183,143 units compared to the previous July.

Two-wheeler exports rose 22% to reach 156,968 units, while commercial vehicle sales increased by 23%. This mixed performance highlights varying demand across markets.
