TVS Motor Company Sees Robust Growth with 29% Increase in July Sales

TVS Motor Company reported a robust 29% growth in total sales for July 2025, achieving 4,56,350 units compared to 3,54,140 units in July of the previous year. The Chennai-based company's success is primarily driven by the strong performance of its two-wheeler segment, reaching 4,38,790 units—a 29% year-on-year rise.
Domestic sales of two-wheelers climbed by 21% to 3,08,720 units, while motorcycle sales increased by 25% to 2,01,494 units. Additionally, scooters saw remarkable growth, registering a 42% increase to 1,98,265 units. Electric vehicles also performed positively, with a 10% uptick in sales despite ongoing challenges related to magnet availability.
The company's export figures showcased even more pronounced growth, with total exports rising by 46% to 1,42,629 units in July 2025 compared to 97,589 in the same month last year. Two-wheeler exports alone surged by 52% to 1,30,070 units. Three-wheeler sales also saw an improvement, reaching 17,560 units from 14,464 units the year before.
